One month before the date, the Board to-be along with the club members of the Rotaract Club of KDU rushed around in haste, organizing and re organizing the schedule for the event which was merely two weeks away. Time truly was of the essence as the Club expected nothing but perfection on this most prestigious day in the Rotaract calendar of KDU; the 4th Installation Ceremony of the Rotaract Club of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University.
The theme for the club year 2016/17 was unanimously decided to be “Risk, Care, Dream, Achieve.” With just that in mind, there were speeches to be made, invitations to be sent out to external parties as well as decorations and the fellowship meal to be organized.
It seemed as though nothing would fall into place while behind the scenes an anxious yet hopeful group of rotaractors anticipated the evening’s proceedings…..
Registrations for the attendees of the installation began at 5.30 pm.
